Autumn Maintenance

• cutting back perennials and autumn-specific pruning (early blooming trees and shrubs)
• applying horticultural oil where necessary to prevent scale and fungus
• dividing and transplanting clumped perennials
• planting bulbs for spring displays
• mulching for insulation during winter months
• burlapping trees and shrubs to prevent snow, ice, and wind damage
• empty and store appropriate urns and pots
• leaf clean-up
• autumn urns include mums, ornamental kale, peppers, and decorative branches

In late autumn we prepare properties for the holiday season with evergreens, berries, and decorative materials.
